STORM Dance Team

STORM DANCE TEAM

By Invite Only - dedicated dancers from the Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Levels will be invited to compete in 4 regional competitions per year from February through May. Each student will have the opportunity to audition for their spot on our Junior, Senior or Elite Team!

Junior Team - competing in 2 small group dances and 1 large group dance per season

Senior Team - competing in 2 small group dances, 1 large group dance and at least 1 duo or trio per season

Elite Team - competing in a minimum of 2 small group dances, 1 large group dance and at least 1 solo, duo and/or trio per season 

Pre-Requisites

  • Must be on track or enrolled in the Artistic or Elite Pathway Program

  • Must be enrolled in Jazz, Lyrical and Strength & Conditioning

  • Must have a solid technical background and strong work ethic

  • Must engage in a high level of performance quality on and off the stage 

  • Must attend Team Week in August of that season

Recommendations 

  • It is highly recommended that dancers participating on the  Storm Dance Team be enrolled in Acro 
  • Dancers should maintain a superior attendance record in their technique classes and practices. A lack of commitment may result in the dancers removal on Team.

The Dance Team Bundle

Upon acceptance on the Storm Dance Team, dancers will receive monogrammed logo wear. This team gear should be worn at all competitions to show studio pride!

​Bundle Includes:
* Team uniform - 1 per season (sports bra and dance shorts) to       be worn to all practices
* 1 pair of black performance tights
* 1 pair of tan performance tights

February 27 - March 1:  GROOVE, Wilmington DE

March 6 - March 8:  REVOLUTION, Baltimore MD

April 10 - April 12:  ROYAL, Sicklerville NJ

May 15 - May 17:  STAR POWER, Freehold NJ
