Technical Assessment Philosophy
Storm Dance Academy offers a comprehensive progression of classes for dancers ages 3 and up. It is carefully structured to match each student’s age, experience and technical development. New dancers are placed through a combination of age guidelines and a brief skills assessment with our faculty. As technique and maturity grow, class length increases, additional genres become available, and students may be invited to progress into Intermediate and Advanced levels or Pre-Professional opportunities. Formal evaluations occur every season, ensuring dancers move up only when they are physically ready, emotionally confident and technically prepared. This approach keeps training challenging, yet safe, allowing every dancer to thrive at the pace that best supports long-term success.
